Saturday, November 12, 2005 19:27有事沒事別拿著玩具槍, 穿得像軍人到處走來走去…. @@ 在一所高中有個 “dress-up day”, 叫學生們穿成他們已後想要當的職業的樣子, 有兩個學生想當警察跟軍人. 搞到學校以為真的有恐怖份子出現…. 哎呀呀…. 看到最近新聞都講這些, 學生就不該穿成會造成騷動的服裝了咩. 可能是年紀還小, 沒想到會為大家造成這麼多的不便……
也有可能是現在的人, 對於恐怖份子的出現有點太過敏了. alert是好事. 不過太害怕也不見得是好事….. 萬聖節的時候, 難道一堆人穿得像巫婆就一堆人在那叫說有巫婆出現嗎? =.= 如果當時新聞一直講說有巫婆出現的話, 說不定真的會那樣喔…. 可知新聞對大家的影響是非常的大….

Dress-up day sparks school terror alert

A dress-up day sparked a terrorism alert at a Tasmanian high school after police were told there were gunmen in the playground.
Police surrounded Clarence High School on Hobart’s eastern shore about 10am (AEDT) on Wednesday following a call reporting two people, both dressed in camouflage gear and one carrying a gun, entering the school grounds.
The school’s 690 students were kept in their classrooms while 10 police officers swept the grounds.
It later emerged that two 16-year-old students had brought plastic guns to school as part of their fancy dress costumes.
A Department of Education spokeswoman said the school principal had spoken with the students and given them “a chance to reflect on what they’d done”.
The students had been surprised at the reaction to the toy guns and would not be punished by the school, she said.
Parents were informed and counselling had been offered to students.
But the two students involved in the scare, Joshua Sinclair and Ben Quinn, told The Mercury newspaper that people had become too sensitive after this week’s counter-terrorism raids in Melbourne and Sydney.
“We were told to dress up as what we want to be when we are older. I dressed in military gear and my friend dressed as an undercover police officer,” Joshua said.
