Opera House a great world icon
我上次去雪梨應該是2002年去參加training的時候. 那次很幸運有朋友帶我玩了兩天的週末. 當然也有去有名的雪梨歌劇院. 記得小時候我們小學有試過整隊choir下去表演, 是很榮幸的事情. 可惜當時我已經上中學了.

Opera House a great world icon: Iemma

Sydney’s Opera House is not just a wonder but one of the world’s great icons, says NSW Premier Morris Iemma.
The world-famous Opera House is one of 21 international landmarks short-listed to become the new Seven Wonders of the World.
The list includes modern landmarks such as Paris’ Eiffel Tower and older candidates like the Colosseum in Rome and China’s Great Wall.
Mr Iemma on Tuesday said the Opera House deserved all the recognition it got.
“It’s not just a wonder it’s an icon,” he told reporters.
“The Opera House since it was opened has become an instant symbol of recognition for Australia not just for Sydney.
“It’s one of the world’s great icons. It unquestionably has brought tourists and tourist dollars and investment to Sydney.”
A worldwide vote is underway before the seven winners are announced on New Year’s Day 2007.
