吃健康食品不一定有效

雖然市面上有很多健康食品可以買, 可是研究說吃這些其實得益最大的只有專業運動員. 運動量不夠的普通人, 吃太多會變胖喔~ 所以別懶得吃早餐就隨便吃個 muesli bar… 要吃就要吃好一點的. 雞蛋三明治之類的應該不錯吧? XD

Muesli Bar‘No benefit’ in protein bars and drinks

Casual gym-goers and weekend sporty types are wasting their time stocking up on protein bars and drinks, with a consumer survey suggesting the only people they benefit are elite athletes.

In fact, the findings of the research, published in the latest edition of Choice Magazine, claim that if recreational athletes don’t burn the protein-rich foods off, they actually risk gaining extra body fat.


They could also be putting a huge dent in their wallets, with some protein bars priced at up to $6, Choice said.

For the survey, Choice looked at 38 ready-to-eat bars and drinks containing a specific reference to protein on their packaging, some of which are found in gyms as well as health food shops.

It found that in most cases, the snacks were of no benefit to anyone apart from endurance and strength-trained athletes, such as marathon runners and body builders along with adolescent athletes, who have increased protein needs.

Even then, these people could get enough protein from a varied diet, Choice said.

They said according to the latest National Nutrition Survey, the average person was already getting enough protein from their diet.
