M之旅Day 2: Ballarat, Docklands, Casino
第二天的行程:
- Hotel breakfast. Yummy! However we weren’t sure whether it will still taste this good on the 4th morning.
- Pick up rental car – cool-looking Toyota Aurion
- Ballarat Tourist Info Center (Eureka Centre)
- Sovereign Hill. Gold pour was amazing! That 3kg block of gold is worth AUD$70-80k…!! Ancient nine-pin bowling game. No holes on the ball, and the lanes are longer than our usually lanes :o And the weather was weird… the moment you put on your sunnies, it starts raining so you need to pull out your umbrella ; the moment your umbrella’s out, the sun’s shining again, and the cycle repeats… grrr!!!
- Gold Museum – big gold nugget replicas~
- Saw a 180 degree double rainbow on the drive back to Melb.
- Dinner @ BHoJ (Indian cuisine) Docklands, tried to order enough food to use our 25% off voucher – at the end they gave us the discount anyway.
- Hourly fire demo along Yarra River. The pic Rob took looked like as if I were breathing fire… XD
- Crown Casino. After entering and exiting so many times, one guard decided to check my ID…
- Supper @ 宵夜店 – arrived at around 12am
- Played cards and Rob’s personality game till 2:30am
