Happy Seven-Eleven Day!
Task: Walk into any 7-Eleven in Australia between 7am-11pm on 7th Nov 2007 and say “Happy Seven-Eleven Day!” to the person behind the counter, and you’ll get a free small slurpee. Limited one slurpee per person.
Of course I got my free drink! The guy behind the counter smiled and said “thanks” and pretended to know nothing. The lady smiled and pointed us to the machines so we can get our free small slurpee.
The counter ppl said don’t tell everyone cuz they don’t hv a lot of slurpee left lol. The other person said they only found out about the event this morning. I guess they didn’t promote it widely cuz otherwise the whole world would go in for free slurpee?
It still makes me wonder if it was the real deal even though I got my slurpee :o cuz if you look at the copyright notice on the slurpee web site and the 7-eleven web site…
