今天早上去 car service, 有服務載顧客回家或是到別的地方, 我是要去 garden city 的. 上車時, 看起來只有我一個”非澳洲人”. 後來… 坐我右邊的人接電話, 講不知道什麼語言, 司機問他, 我們才知道原來他在說阿拉伯文. 真的完全看不出是中東人, 而且也來澳洲二十幾年了. 至於我, 一看就知道是亞洲人. 坐我左邊的, 一開口聽英文發音就知道是來自南非的白人. 坐前座的是來自忘了哪裡的人. 所以其實車子裡就只有司機是”真正的澳洲人”. 聊到說26號是國慶日, 最近幾年澳洲有賣比較多澳洲國旗衣服等精品. 感覺大家也變得比較 patriotic. 兩百年歷史的澳洲, 沒錯是很多白人, 實際上, 每個人的祖先都是來自於不知道哪個國家呢. 是個多元文化的國家. 今年的Australia Day剛好是農曆年初一, 又有一個 long weekend 假期了. 期待! 今天教會之後, 大家出去飲茶歡送一位要回香港的朋友. 總共十八人, 吃了很多… 蛋撻一人一個, 蝦餃燒賣幾乎一人一個, 還有很多很多點心. 我們都吃飽的時候, 點心還一直送來. 懷疑是不是給多了?? 後來檢查我們的菜單… 喔… 我們總共點了65籠點心 ~”~ 難怪有那麼多食物了. 點菜時我們都是點每個點心一兩個, 加起來就很多了. 有點 all you can eat yum cha 的感覺. 幸好男生胃口比較大, 最終還是有把所有食物吃完, 沒浪費. 這一餐算吃得划算, 一人$15左右而已. 回香港一定要去找我們的醫師朋友!! :D [ READ MORE ]
