Appreciating Life's Little Things

Today I had to make a phone call overseas, the person’s name was “yew”.

ET: Hello, may I speak to yew please?
Other side: hm?
ET: Is yew there?
Other side: hah?
ET: I mean, is tonyew there? (‘tonyew’ a fake name for blog)
Other side: tonyew? yes, hold on a sec..

So what happened was… my question sounded like “may I speak to YOU please?” hence the confusion =o= it became the first joke of the year with my colleagues… aiyaya…
