About Me & this Blog

Hello. My name is Estella (initials E.T.) and I’ve been creating web sites since 1996 and started blogging since 2004. The purpose of this blog is to share and note down my experiences and thoughts through daily life. I blog about anything interesting that I come across. I’m starting to move across to using more social media to record my online activities, including Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter. My interests and hobbies include web design, pets, puzzles (especially jigsaw), cooking (working on it), some sports (ice skating, tennis, badminton, bowling), reading and thinking. My all time favourite anime character is Doraemon.

Blogging Language
Chinese is often used to keep up with my Chinese language and typing skills. English is also used depending on the topic. Whichever language flows better that day, I’ll use that language. I even attempt Japanese sometimes, though I’m still an amateur. My preferred blogging language is Chinese.

Web Experience
Prior to setting up this blog, I had a few personal home pages in the past. I’ve received a few awards for web sites in the past, including a recommendation in a Hungarian magazine (the “Internet Kalauz” 1997 – still have a copy at home). My GeoCities site back then won a web page competition for St. Patrick’s Day (first place out of hundreds or thousands of competing web page entries), the prize was an upgrade from 2MB to 5MB of web space, and trust me, that was A LOT at the time.
