Google Labs 有很多正在測試中的網路程式服務. 測試成功的話, 就會變成 正式的 Google 服務. 其中一個測試中的程式叫做 Google Reader (按這). 基本上, 這是一個 web-based RSS reader. 可以把喜歡看的blog存進去, 也可以跟blog一樣存 folders or tags. 他就會每天自動去看看有沒有新的文章. 有的話, 那個blog的文章就會出現在 Google Reader 的首頁上, 方便閱讀. 市面上應該也有很多其他的 RSS reader, 不過我都沒試過. 因為…. 我怕其他的會越來越多廣告, 所以只相信 Google’s quality…. LOL… XD

興趣等於工作嗎? 今年有好幾家大家新開了幾個”遊戲學位”, 吸引了不少高中畢業生去讀. 連一些成績好到可以讀醫科律師的學生, 也被吸引去讀遊戲. 不是說成績好就一定要讀”專科”, 只是聽起來有點”可惜” :o 我覺得, 讀書這回事, 最重要是要讀的時候有興趣. 不然就算成績好, 跑去讀不喜歡的科目還是會很辛苦呢. Anyway, 現在大學在怕學生以為可以整天玩遊戲, 而不懂固中真正要學的是什麼. 要寫遊戲, 當然就等於要學電腦, 要學 programming 囉. 可以說是 major 寫遊戲的 IT course. 大學還有一個月就開學了. 再過半年應該就知道有多少學生繼續讀下去囉. 以下是YouTube Founders給大家的感謝訊息. 他們看起來很optimistic呢! 希望他們跟各音樂公司的合作會成功, 以後還是可以繼續為大家提供這麼好的影音服務! 要發達喔…. 有幾種條件: 好的構思, 冒險精神, 努力往目標進發, 創業的能力, 有人支持賞識, 一點點運氣. Chad 和 Steve 兩人是在PayPal工作的時候認識的. 之後兩人跳出來創立 YouTube. 去年二月才開始的網站, 現在一年半之後有人出 USD$1.65billion 來買. 真的很厲害! 有些網站說YouTube那時候好像都沒賺錢 (C&S兩人背了大筆信用卡債), 所以才沒人告他們版權的問題.
