Recently I’ve played the game “めっちゃ！ 太鼓の達人ＤＳ ７つの島の大冒険” on a friend’s NDS. This song’s called “Kare Kano Kanon” - one of my favourites in the game! Tonight’s class we went through the lyrics of this song by SMAP “世界に一つだけの花”. It’s so meaningful that this song is being sung in Japanese schools. Nice tune too!

Now, let’s compare the past 2 Olympic Theme Songs…. Personally, I think musical from Athens 2004 was so much better. I’m not criticizing the Chinese version, but it’s just that it… lacks something…. you’d expect the chorus to be “explosive”, but it doesn’t give you that effect. The theme song at Athens was definitely “EXPLOSIVE”! [...]
